You might find that on occasions it is just not possible or desirable to chop into a wall to fit a flush mounting wall box. We often find that in many listed buildings you are simply not permitted to ruin the fabric of the wall surfaces and it is at times like these that our Surface Mount Wall Boxes offer you the perfect solution. Our boxes are finished to match our faceplates which gives you an authentic look when mounting electrical accessories on the surface.
Most other companies only offer surface mounted boxes made of plastic. These have the tendency to chip, peel or fade in colour which generally ruin the appearance of the faceplate. We recommend you fit boxes like ours that are made from the same material as the faceplate.
We currently offer 2 different types of Wall Mounted Surface boxes and we can supply these in almost any finish to match the Sockets and Switches on our website (with one or two exceptions).
We offer a range of boxes with a steel sheath that fits over a PVC Pattress (supplied). These boxes are suitable for plates between 85-89mm x 85-89mm for a single sized plate or 85-89mm x 145-149mm for a twin sized plate.
