They have a fast charge rate and are a more attractive solution to having chargers or plain white plastic style sockets. The total charging rate per USB socket is per socket ‐ this power is NOT shared between USB sockets so the charging performance is not slowed or impaired when using both USB chargers at the same time unlike many other USB charging sockets on the market today.
