Handmade in our UK factory the recessed floor socket range means no more tripping over, or having flaps and plugs sticking out of the floor, when your floor sockets are in use.
The clever design has the socket set back from the lid surface making it possible for the plug to fit flatly under the lid once it is closed and just the flex to emerge above the floor through the small cut outs in the lid.
All the recessed floor sockets can be completely customised. Not only is there the standard typical 13 amp plug sockets, which can be switched on / off unlike standard floor sockets, the recessed floor sockets can be
- 5 amp sockets for lighting
- telephone sockets
- TV aerial sockets
- satellite connectors
- and RJ45 ports for computer networking
- Plus for international customers using European or US plugs, the floor sockets can be adpated for those as well.
Sockets can even be mixed eg a satellite connector, aerial socket, phone socket and RJ45 network socket all in one recessed floor socket - just speak to the bespoke team at Sockets & Switches.
Recessed floor sockets are available in five finishes designed to match all floor types and colours, other finishes are available by request. The five finishes also match the standard ranges of sockets and switches so continuing the colour theme is easy to do.
The recessed floor sockets come in both single and double sizes, and have a 25 year guarantee against mechanical and electrical failure to give you the confidence that these will last the test of time.

Two Rounded pin lighting plugs in the floor is very useful for table lamps. The lid closes nice and flat even with them plugged in so it looks neat and tidy.

Very Original design. Fits the bill exactly by allowing the lids to shut flat whilst having working plugs in it - different from the cableduct type as finished to match wall sockets and a lot less hassle to fit.

Solved My Design Problem

I bought the quad CAT6 computer outlet version and sockets and switches swapped 2 of the computer outlets for a 13amp socket for me at no extra cost. This enabled me to have the socket fitted under my desk so i could power up my computer and connect to my network with all of the cabling hidden rather trhan trailing leads everywhere. I can stretch my legs out without fear of disconnecting the mains to my computer. The lids close flat and are unobstrusive. Very good service all round and the quality is supberb you can tell its very well made.
